Choi Minho

Minho (born Choi Minho; Hangul: 최민호, Hanja: 崔珉豪; born December 9, 1991), is a South Korean singer, rapper, dancer, actor, model and host. He is most famously known as a member of the contemporary R&B and Pop quintet boy band, SHINee, under SM Entertainment.

 Biography

Minho was born on December 9, 1991 in Incheon, South Korea. He graduated from Konkuk University's affiliated high school on February 10, 2010. After taking the college admissions test the previous year, he was admitted to the year 2010 of Konkuk’s part-time admittance for the arts and culture film major where he is currently attending. His father, Choi Yun-Gyeom, is a well-known South Korean ex-soccer coach. He also has a mother, and a older brother named Choi Minseok.

 Career

 SHINee

Minho is known as Flaming Charisma Minho and he was casted in the 2006 S.M. Casting System. He is the main rapper of the group. He has also written rap parts for some of SHINee's songs, such as "Get it".

 Other activities

Before debuting with SHINee, Minho modelled for Ha Sang Baek's Seoul Collection F/W 08-09 in March.^[
In 2008 he was the 3rd Youth International Video Festival "the aura" Goodwill Ambassador with fellow SHINee member, Key. Minho has been appointed as the ambassador of Konkuk University 2010. On May 23, 2011, he was named Honorary ambassador for Youth 2011He then received a name plate at the Youth Week celebration held in the COEX auditorium.
Minho hosts MBC's Music Core, alongside fellow SHINee member, Onew But do to oversea schedules, they are on temporary leave.^[ He is a permanent cast member in KBS's Let's Go Dream Team! Season 2. He is often dubbed as the "Ace" of the show, having won the challenges at numerous occasions. He was also a permanent cast member in the KBS program Oh! My School, also known as 100 Points Out of 100 ,
Minho was featured in Girls' Generation's first live album The 1st Asia Tour: Into The New World Album in the song "1, 2, Step" with Girls' Generation's Kwon Yuri.
